ProMotion® Series Brushed DC motor Controller Datasheet
Main features

The motor controller is based on a powerful 16-bit DSP with excellent filtering quality. This intelligent motor controller integrated a controller and an PWM amplifier into one case. It performs the following tasks:
u Instruction and interface compatible with FAULHABER MCDC series motor controller u Up to 80KHz PWM(for low load inductance) u Closed loop/Open loop u Torque control u Velocity control :+/-10V,PWM,PPM(Hobby RC),RS232 u Position Control:RS232,Pluse/Dir u Velocity Profiles: Ramping, triangle, trapezoidal and more complicated combined velocity profiles are available to the user. u Storage of the set configurations.
RS232 interface for connection to PC or control with transfer rates of up to 115K Baud. An extensive set of ASCII commands is available for programming and operation.
UP-TECH Motion Terminal 1.0 software is available for Windows 2K/XP: this considerably simplifies operation and configuration of the units and also offers a graphic online analysis function for operating data.
The drive can also be operated independently of the RS232 interface if the desired function, such as velocity or position controller, has been previously programmed via analog input, stepper motor, etc.
Fields of application
Thanks to the compact design, the units can be integrated into diverse applications with minimal wiring. The flexible connection options open up a broad field of application in all areas:
u Robots with high power density u Distributed motion control system u Decentralized automation systems u Handling devices and machine tools
Note
Detailed User Manual on installation and commissioning are provided with Motor Controller.
